Without A Home- A Tale About Becoming Homeless At The Age Of 20

I always wondered as a kid, how someone could end up on the street with no one to turn to, to ask for a place to rest, why would they choose that situation rather than working for a roof over there head. Did they find it better to be free of the chains of society and the constant reminder in there head, that being a cog to the wheel of the system was inevitable and to break out was impossible, so rather than let it beat them they decided there own fate instead, Then bam! I found myself laying behind a hedge bush sleeping on a piece of cardboard by the old neighborhood I grew up as a kid because it was the only place I felt ok to close my eyes and allow myself to drift off for a little bit. Not a cent to my name and not a soul to hear my complaints. This was the second time I found myself in this situation.
